Governor's Morning Report. See what your realm did overnight, take what Brann finds on the shore, keep a Days of Rule streak going

release

We now have a Governor’s Morning Report. When you’ve been away 24 hours or more, the dialog opens itself with a tally of your realm-wide stores, anything Brann pulled from the tideline, the council and dispatch counters, and a row of milestone stamps for your Days of Rule streak.

Days of Rule, and why the streak is forgiving

Every UTC day where you take a single ruler action — queue a build, send a fleet, resolve an affair, send a message, trade — counts as one day of rule. The seal stamps for 1, 7, 14, 30, 60, and 90 days sit at the bottom of the morning dialog. If you shutter your realm, the streak freezes instead of breaking, so a deliberate week off does not cost you. A real lapsed day still ends the run.

Tideline finds

Each morning the steward Brann walks the shore and brings what he finds back to the capital. Sometimes a sealed supply chest. Sometimes a merchant’s ledger with a dry pouch of gold tucked into its bindings. Sometimes a goat on a crate. You either take what he brings or it washes back to sea in eight hours. Quantities scale with your capital’s prestige tier.

New

  • Governor’s Morning Report: a once-per-cycle dialog that fires after a 24h+ absence. Four sections — Morning Tally, Tideline Find, Realm Status, Governor’s Seal stamps.
  • Days of Rule streak: a per-player counter that advances on any ruler action. Six milestones (1, 7, 14, 30, 60, 90 days). Shuttered days freeze the streak instead of breaking it.
  • Steward of the Long Ledger: an honor awarded when you clear the full Days of Rule achievement track.
  • Tideline Finds: Brann brings one to three finds to your capital each morning, resource bundles or salvaged goods, with an eight-hour window to claim each one. Quantities scale with capital prestige tier.
  • Share any report: copy as text, copy as image, or download a PNG, from the report’s bottom bar.
  • A Configure button on the alliance Operations feed lets you turn off sharing spy, attack, colonisation, or liberation reports with your alliance.

Improved

  • The Max button on troop, catapult, and hound training respects housing, kennel, and barracks caps now, not just resources, so it never proposes more than you can actually train.
  • The Trade Wind blessing is renamed Wayward Wind, since it does more than affect trade.
  • Raids on wild islands show up in the alliance feed now too, instead of being silent.
  • Tap the “War Updates” summary in alliance chat to jump straight to the Operations feed.
  • Realm → Council opens with a short banner video at the top, matching the Morning Report’s feel.
  • The Claims tab is redesigned: each row shows the found item’s art, a named reward line (“50 Gold” / “Supply Chest”), and a Take it button. Redemption toasts say what was stowed instead of a bare number.
  • Black Rot Plague feels like a plague now: troops start dying the moment it lands, happiness drains while it is active, and the Civic tab tracks Deaths per hour. The medicine chest cure recipe sits right on the curse dialog.

Fixed

  • The bazaar no longer shows the previous island’s stalls for a moment after switching islands, so “this item is not available for your tier” no longer pops up mid-tap.
  • Realm island cards no longer leak incoming-attack counts on islands with no watchtower. The tower tile now reads “No Tower” as a build prompt.
  • Recalling a fleet: the dismiss button on the “Turn the fleet around?” confirm reads “Keep Going” now, and if the recall fails you see a toast instead of a silent dismissal.
