Wealth statues. Pick a monument, drip coin into it, climb the Wealthiest leaderboard

release

Your island can now raise a wealth statue once your Main House reaches level 15. Pick one of four monuments, two on the Bright Coast and two on the Black Tide. Coin you bank into it climbs the statue through Bronze (50k), Silver (500k), and Gold (2M) tiers, and pushes you up the new Wealthiest leaderboard. Your archetype choice is permanent. Conquering an island carries the statue, its banked coin, and its leaderboard credit to the new owner.

Resources and economy: gentler, smoother

Resources & Economy handbook

Two balance changes you’ll feel on every island. Both are about evening the gaps between players, not changing your total income. This probably won’t be the end of balancing resources.

Island specialisation is gentler:

  • Before: dominant resource +80%, non-dominant −40%. The gap between your best and worst island was a 3x swing.
  • Now: dominant +30%, non-dominant −15%. That swing is 1.5x.

Raid loot premiums on dominant islands are unchanged. Only your home production curve shifts.

Late-game production is smoother:

  • Before: production stayed linear through level 10, then suddenly compounded past it.
  • Now: a small bump per level starting at level 2. No dead zone before L10 and no late-game spike.

A level 15 gold mine produces about 11% more than it did under the old curve. A level 20 gold mine sits about 4% lower. The shape is the same wherever you’re standing.

New

  • Wealth statues: raise one of four monuments at Main House L15, feed it to Bronze (50k), Silver (500k), Gold (2M), and climb the new Wealthiest leaderboard. Alignment is permanent.

Fixed

  • Raids on inactive players actually return loot again. The protection floor had been set against the old storehouse cap shape and was overshooting common storehouse levels.
