A spray-soaked courier set the week’s roll on the Harbor Board table and waited until the ink stopped trying to crawl back into the sea.

A war written in one line

The conflict board now reads, with unusual simplicity, All Governors against The Black Tide, the running tally set at 4,874 to 2,587, and a fresh war clock of seven hours. Agreement has arrived by the usual route, which is to say by irritation.

The practical effect is that Tide shores are being handled by several hands at once. The administrative effect is that our notice wall has begun to resemble a legal argument conducted with charcoal.

Windy Walrus leaves a door open

Windy Walrus opened the window with a clean entry from 00 Warehouse G to Duskshade Bluff, marked victory, island freed, and the main house cut from 18 to 13. The tally shows 27,500 sent and 27,132 returning for count, which is the kind of loss the clerks accept because it fits inside a line.

A blackened idol was logged among the goods taken, entered into stores with nothing recorded beyond its weight. Religion travels better when it is itemized.

Miko Misan and the ledger that will not conclude

Miko Misan carried much of the week’s pressure from RattleHook Port and FogWhale Ridge. In the supplied battle slips, the count comes to nineteen actions against Tide holdings and coasts, including Black Tide Tomb, Black Tide Scum, Stoneshade Roost, Black Tide Lice, Black Tide Sewer, Black Tide Slime, Black Tide Crows, Black Tide Contagion, and Black Tide Vultures.

Total sent across those returns is 259,505, with the same number surviving to be counted. The clerks have read it three times, each in a slower voice.

One paper still refuses to behave. The strike from FogWhale Ridge to Black Tide Vomit returns with every man present for counting, and the outcome written as “unknown”. This would be charming if it were a song title. It is, instead, a war record that will not finish its sentence.

Complicating matters, last day’s packet described Black Tide Contagion in the same unfinished way, while this week’s roll lists it among the victories. Either the Tide has begun confusing our scribes, or our scribes have begun confusing themselves. Jenkins offered to reconcile the copies by “averaging” them. He was removed from the table.

Flowkap keeps striking without ornament

From 0 - Augusta Capitalum, Flowkap logged repeated victories against Seagrove Isle, Oakcrest Head, Palepoint Roost, and Mossscar Reach. Crews returned intact, and the plunder reads like steady dismantling, gold, lumber, stone, and a trace of lumen at Palepoint Roost.

It is the sort of work that looks small until you notice it has been done again. The sea has learned to dread consistency.

Turtle Blues feeds a village, then rows out anyway

Turtle Blues, sailing from 1Rain bleu Yi, recorded victories at Black Tide Larva, Hazelthicket Bay, and Snowshore Reach. Main houses were marked down from 18 to 13 twice and from 16 to 11 once, with lumen taken in notable quantity at Black Tide Larva.

At home, the village matter titled The Bread That Would Not Stop was handled in the sensible manner of feeding people before the bakehouse collapsed. The record concedes that an unexpected surplus is still a surplus. This is the gentlest line we have received all week.

roxx and Ankhor conduct a separate dispute

Not every oar in the water was aimed at the Tide. On 2026-09-12, roxx struck Ankhor twice, from SplashFish Nook to 000 Ankhoria and 002 Okara, both marked victory with full forces surviving and substantial plunder listed.

Ankhor, still active and still standing, is also recorded later throwing back three Black Tide landings at 005 Sunara. The archipelago continues to insist a governor may be both target and wall, depending on which horizon you check first.

Notes from the edges: Barbaros and Spartan84

Barbaros filed multiple scouting returns this week, including ShantyShrimp Hold, Shellwatch Point, Otterspring Cay, Wrenwave Reach, and Frosthollow Nook. World totals show 1,918 successful spy ventures out of 2,060. The number is encouraging in the way a sharp knife is encouraging.

Spartan84, newly arrived and already practical, plundered OctoBanana Rock for 8,539 stone, 2,790 lumber, and 230 gold. This is an honest builder’s order of preference.

MONAD denies a permit, receives a brawl

At SaltedFin Bay, MONAD faced the Dockside Pirate Wedding. The official decision was strict order and a denied event permit, on the theory that refusing a ceremony might prevent a fight.

A brawl broke out anyway. The docks remain inventive.

Trade clears, against temperament

Across the week the marketplace trading ledger shows 197 completed exchanges cleared. In a world that cannot reliably write the end of a battle, it is comforting to see stone and lumber still exchanging hands with proper sums.

We are, it seems, capable of agreeing on prices. We are less reliable with conclusions.
